(Lakshmi)Me as a young girl, I had plenty of time during school. I was using it mostly on my goals and dreams. I was not thinking at all about boys or such things. I always had a little different view of “regular” relationships and dating (in general Love) than other girls in teenage. I love my family with my full heart more than anything. ❤️ I wanted to accomplish my to-do list of things to buy for them, to help them financially. Because as a family, we never had a lot of money. I could not bear to see them worry or suffer.
One day I saw a movie called Hacker, and I became interested in programming and IT stuff. It inspired me to the point that I started searching online for someone that would help me with my study passion. I didn’t know how to start learning by myself then. After hours of searching, one guy pops up at me on social media called Filip Farkaš. Nothing special. I just randomly searched the web, looking for someone that could help me. I saw – he was working as a “Freelancer, Programmer”. He was a foreigner, so it was kind of risky, but I added him. Later on, he added me as well. I was surprised and curious about who he was. I started chatting with him by saying “Hello”.
(Filip)I was speculating at the time. I was at high school studying and trying to become financially independent from my parents. As a family, we never had a decent amount of money. My motivation was to have more freedom in my life. I tried out many businesses. Multilevel-marketing, selling, programming my games (I am a programmer from my 13). Later on, I lost some money due to not having any experience with people, scams. Times were tough, but I told myself that I have to maintain my positive and not-giving-up energy. Later on, I realised that programming is my strongest side. So I started experimenting. (Photo on the side is my project/experiment quadcopter, and btw. it never worked 😅 – the year 2016)
And what about me and the girls, you may ask? During high school, I attended a boys-only class (high school of electrical engineering), so I hardly ever saw a girl at that time. After school, I usually self-educated myself at home behind the computer (geek or nerd ? 😄) and did not have time for parties, hang-outs or girls then. I am not saying I did not miss it (many of my friends already were in relationships). Before, I was not in a relationship except with Lakshmi 💙 I just didn’t come across any girl who would understand me or had similar inner values. So I didn’t bother about it. And I have never seen the point of getting in a relationship with someone I would not feel “right”. (Photo on the side is from the end of 2016)
However, when I saw Lakshmi’s friend request, I did not give it too much attention. I just added her because I was adding everyone who wanted my friend request. I was doing multilevel marketing and tried to build my network of customers and contacts. Later on, Lakshmi wrote to me. I saw her profile and that she is from India. My first impression was: “That account is fake”. 😄
Our online coincidence is one of the most incredible moments in our lives that happened. When we realise, if I would not add Lakshmi as a friend that time, in that mindset I had, in that one single moment, we would never chat, meet or even (unbelievably) fall in love.
Just one click, one choice can tremendously change the direction of your whole life.
It changed my life as well as Lakshmi’s. These things do not only happen in relationships but in every aspect of our lives. Sometimes life is like water. You flow, do not push water or go against the stream. Let it all go, and it will come to you. Remember this.
And here our story begins 🌱
